I admire the work of the photographer Ansel Adams. As a lover of nature and conservation, not only do I find his work captivating, but I also have a deep appreciation for the impact it had on awakening the American people to the beauty of the West in the 1900’s. His work influenced the government’s environmental policies at the time and was instrumental in informing Congress’s decision to make the Yosemite Valley a National Park. I aspire to reflect Adams’ vision in the way he captures nature and landscapes.
